OCTOBER

Service Contribution Program
The Service Contribution Program was formed by the Service Department as a program to allow our customers to become more involved in local charity events. Every time you, as our customer, does business with our Service Dept. we make a donation to a non-profit organization dedicated to helping the Central Florida community.

MAKING STRIDES AGAINST BREAST CANCER

The American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk is as unique and special as the stories that motivate our dedicated walkers, donors and volunteers. Each step we take is personal and each donation helps save lives. Making Strides walks are non-competitive and three to five miles in length. Since 1993, nearly six million walkers have raised more than $400 million. In 2009 alone, nearly 700,000 walkers across the country collected $60 million to save lives from breast cancer.Below are a few of the ways you can join us!

On October 23rd join the Orlando community during the 5k walk at Lake Eola in Downtown Orlando. To nd out more information on Making Strides or to register please visit www.makingstrides.acesevents.org.

MARCH OF DIMES

Our mission is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth, and infant mortality. We carry out this mission through research, community services, education and advocacy to save babies' lives. March of Dimes researchers, volunteers, educators, outreach workers and advocates work together to give all babies a ghting chance against the threats to their health: prematurity, birth defects, low birthweight.

The March of Dimes in Orlando hosted a fundraising event in August - the Mud Volleyball Tournament! David Maus Volkswagen was a proud sponsor of the event in an eort to raise money for the March of Dimes. People from all over Florida gather to play & get dirty for an extraordinary cause - healthy babies!

THANK YOU!

Because of you we are able to donate to these charities. If you have any charities that are special to you, please let your Service Advisor know and we?ll see if we can make a donation.
